Browsing the site
This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. Your language choice may be stored in your own browser (localStorage). Our host (Hostinger International Ltd., EU) records technical access data (IP address, date, requested page, browser) in log files to keep the site secure and running; the host deletes these logs automatically.
Contact form and email
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your name, email address, the service and budget you select and your message to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Messages are delivered to our business mailbox (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Ltd., acting as our processor). After sending the form you receive an automatic confirmation; to avoid sending it repeatedly we keep, for 30 days, only an encrypted code (hash) of your email address. To protect the form against abuse we keep pseudonymised counters (no readable IP address) for at most 24 hours. Your messages are kept as long as needed for your enquiry and to meet legal obligations.
Client area
In the private client area we share photos and notes about your project. Access is code-protected; a strictly necessary session cookie is used and deleted when you log out or close the browser. Data is stored on our server outside the public part of the site and never shared with third parties.
Fonts
All fonts are hosted on our own server; no connection to Google servers is made.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to object, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority CNPD (www.cnpd.pt). To exercise your rights, email us at contact@farolstudios.com.
